The Desafío Inca Dakar Series 2013

After the successful visit of the Dakar Rally in Peru both in 2012 and 2013, this country will now host the second Dakar Series event in South American. Enduro d'Agadir/XRally 2013 Race Review Part 2 Calesini (Rally) and Minaudier (Enduro) win the Enduro d'Agadir/XRally Emanuele Musazzi Day 3 Tafraoute-Tiznit Km 274 SS1“Moussa” 56 km SS2 “Rimal” 95 km The third day started with 95 km of liaison that alternated some parts on the tarmac to off road paths on sandy ground. The first special stage saw the riders tackle stony paths with a lot of change of directions, river crossings reaching 1.100 mt above the sea level. The second special stage was very demanding on the navigation that even an experienced rider such as Jean Brucy got lost, losing valuable time. Despite the difficulties with the road book the riders enjoyed riding on sandy terrain and fast tracks before reaching the village of Tiznit. Jean Brucy Italian Alessandro Fadda won the first stage in front of Arnold Brucyand Spaniard Antonio Gimeno, while the second stage saw on top of the time sheets: Matteo Rizzi,Andrea Fesani and Nicola Quinto. The provisional podium at the end of the third day was the following:Sandro Calesini ahead of Roberto Zanella and François Charliat Loic Minaudier Enduro: the liaison was common for both the enduro and the rally competitors, than there were two special “banderolé” enduro stages of 6 and 5 minutes each on a stony terrain. Everything is ready for the Enduro d'Agadir / Xrally

We are ready for departure. From tomorrow will start enduro d'Agadir, a competition that has two categories Enduro and XRally. The race will take place in four stages. First stage; Marrakech-Taroudant, second stage; Taroudant-Tafraoute,
Third stage; Tafraoute-Tiznit, the fourth and final stage:-Agadir Tiznit.
 

 The varied course (desert and mountain) is the characteristic of this event with a daily average of about 200km and four stages, will have a total length
of 1200 km. Starting from the desert dell'Agafay (desert of Marrakech), the caravan will run on flat stretches and fast and then take the riders to cross the Atlas Mountains between mountain scenery and breathtaking canyons dream. The last stretch will see the contestants compete on sandy desert trails, called Le Petit Sahara, near Tiznit, and ends in the Atlantic ocean on the beach in Agadir. The city of Marrakech to see more and more than a hundred riders: are the 50 starters in the Enduro category, 55 riders of the rally, including, besides Italians also French, Belgian, Spanish, British, Moroccan and a Swede.

 The Enduro d'Agadir Category X-Rally is the first of three rounds of the championship Rally Pro Series, the next meetings will be the Serres (Greece) 26 to 31 August and the Merzouga Rally (Morocco) 21 to 26 October. The league has a prize pool of
fifteen thousand euro which will be divided equally among the winners of the two categories, Rally and Rally Lite.
